600V Building Wire, Copper, Paper Sheath, PVC Jacket. Colonial NM-B (Non-Metallic Sheathed Cable) is commonly used for residential wiring. Colonial NM-B is used for dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90 C (with ampacity limited to that for 60 C conductors) as defined in article 334 of the National Electrical Code. Colonial NM-B is rated 600 volts. Colonial NM-B may be installed or run in air voids and joints in masonry block or tile walls that are not exposed to moisture or dampness.
